Behind the Magic – The Illustrations
Before there were drawings, there was a feeling.
I wanted the art in the Tía-VerseTM to feel warm, lived in, and quietly seen — like someone had been paying attention for years.
Then I found Uğur. We've never met in person. We don't even speak the same language.
But through shared files and voice notes, we built this world together — one emotion at a time.
Based in İzmir, Turkey, Uğur brings each page to life with care and quiet brilliance.
His background in art and child psychology shapes the way he draws — not just pictures, but relationships.
He paints with his cheerful budgies, Çabbar and Paşa, often nearby — and his work always seems to know what children need to feel.
